MICRO ENTERPRISE / VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Despite dreams of a better life for their children, this cycle of poverty will most likely repeat itself, as these women have little education and few marketable skills to change the course of their futures.

Family Preservation Alliance Uganda works with at-risk communities to provide determined women the opportunity to build their own livelihood. Helping women foster small businesses or learn a marketable skill set is the best and most efficient way to impact an entire family. Our initiatives focus on vocational training programs whereby women will be able to sustain their financial independence as well as protect and provide for their children over the long run. Our vocational training initiatives include, but are not limited to: Small Business Entrepreneurs, Tailoring, Artisans, Auto Mechanics and Carpentry.

EMPOWERING WOMEN AS AGENTS OF CHANGE

These beautiful crafts are made by the women of Uganda. These projects afford mothers, widows, and women living with HIV/AIDS, as well as grandparent and sibling headed households the opportunity to improve their circumstances and provide for their families as never before.
